Got this e-mail from a guy that claims to be interested in my roller for sale. This seems like a little fishy... what do you guys think?

Hello,
thanks for the mail,i am ok with price and i will give you $900, so i will like you to know that you will get the cheque of $7000 from my client so as soon as you get it you will have to deduct you money and send the rest to the shipping compant that will come for the pick up in your location.
So i will like you to give me our FULL NAME FULL; ADDRESS WITH YOUR PHONE NUMBER.And also i will want you to giv me your an 100% assurance that as soon as you get tyhe cheque you will forward the shippers the rest of the money.
THANKS

This is a scam that's been going on for a while. I've personally experienced it, and I know that one other member on this board has, too. Both incidents involved selling vehichles (car and motorcycle). The guy claims to be from out of the country but says he has someone that will ship the purchased item to him. When you go to cash the check that he sends, it turns out not to be any good. The FBI is aware of this scam, but apparently cannot do anything about it...probably since the guy isn't in the country (who knows, though...it's the FBI dry.gif ).

So, to answer your question, Yes, it is suspicious...don't do it.

Yup a very common internet scam. The check will be from a bank out of country. You forward the remaining money and the check bounces is their plan.
