Had a good time seeing everyone again. Sorry I had to bolt so early, but I had to work in the morning.... and today. Chris, I still owe you a beer, too. Guess that means we'll have to get together again soon. |

Dear God!!!! I'm thinking clogged oil passage at that journal??? Actually, it would make more sense if it was still getting plenty of lube, but there was a burr or the like grinding on the crank/bearing/rod whatever. Oil allows it to keep spinning, builds heat as friction increases and kaboom! Scary to think that the rod was in the 2000* range when that happened . Chris, I'm building a small metal lathe, but on a very part-time basis. The bed is the only thing built at the moment. |

I say that's me having fun, and you say that's being a dick. Hah... Oh well I've been called worse. Is it time for make-up *** now? It sounds like someone being a dick. And that's OK, I go to great lengths to be an ass to people. It just surprises me that the only way you've seen me like that is on the sauce. I just hope I was at least a little entertaining. |

You remind me alot of myself when your on the sauce. Loud, interjecting all the time, accusing and belittling others, making sure I'm the center of attention and generally being cool. (Yeah the exact opposite of my sober personna) Could be a good time with two of us there. Ah..... so, I'm pretty much a dick when I'm drunk, eh? Good to know. Thanks Marcus. |

Well, I better chime in or get hell from everyone. Was a good time, although I don't think my brother has ever seen me in that "condition". |

As the title implies, I need a mason. Not the secret-society type, a mudslinging bricklayer. I have a wall that is near failure, and I need advice and work done. I'm not looking for a handout or discount, just someone who knows their stuff. I'd rather give the business to a buddy if possible, so let me know if you would. Thanks gents, Bahahahahahahhhhhhhhh!!!! |

Thanks Bro!!! I just learned how to post pics!!! Cool! Welcome to 1997!!!!! Glad to have you aboard. Now, if only you could master the code-writing complexity of more than one pic per post. I think ICC has a course on this, but it's a two-year program. I'll check for you tomorrow. |

Allright, after some severe badgering from my nut-brother, I decided to chime in here. Yes, I'll be there in full force along with the wife. But I'm NOT getting naked with Dan again. I don't have enough delousing powder for that crap. |

Marcus, Buddy, I am so sorry to hear about this! We hope you and your family find peace in this in whatever way you can. My condolences, bro. |

I'd be up for it, but the "when" is kind of critical. Let me know. Oh, and I spent the weekend melding down hard drive cases into aluminum bars and building a dresser. The end. |

I'll always be endeared to the memory of Dan being frozen like a giant meat popsicle, barely able to get out of the rocket inside my garage. He drove from Chambana to Peoria with the windows down 'cause the heater wasn't working and otherwise, the fog was too much. Of course, that was after cracking the windshield after my sterno heater idea Good times. |

Heck, I'll even weigh in. I think your idea shows a lot of insight and a well-grounded perspective. These cars were never meant to be a well-running long lasting tanks, but they are definitely fun to have. Right now, the rocket sits in the garage half apart, but it may go by the wayside in leiu of a motorcycle for economy's sake. Hopefully I can still hold onto it. The social aspect of this site has always and will always be what keeps me checking in on it. The group of friends that came out of an interest in risking my life and endlessly wrenching on a machine that will only break again is one of the coolest groups I've met. There is a willingness to help each other that I haven't found in many places, and as always, the low BS content on here is phenominal. I say go for it. |

QUOTE (JBone @ Jun 6 2008, 05:12 PM) I didn't even get to GSXracer's post, and I was already thinking the same thing. Just get a "Spy sized" condom. That will be tight enough to push in the release button. Then all you do is hold up and then let it spring back off your hand, which will already be next to the shifter, too. Just remember to leave a resevoir at the tip. |

4G37? Someone will have to educate me on this....pretty sure there were only 2 engine options on the 1st gens. But as we all witnessed above, I have the potential to talk out of my ass. |

Also, if you believe the PCV valve to be clogged (remove it and see if it rattles nicely when you shake it, and if it does, it's good) ONLY replace it with an OEM unit from Mitsu. Folks have had a lot of bad experience with those from Autozone and Advance. Congrats on your Mistu..... hope you like turning wrenches. *edit: Realized you have a 420a in that thing. Unsure of the reliablilty of those PCV valves being a chrysler product, so diregard the advice. |

Hmmm...race you this year? I'm not so sure about that. The car is NOT where I want it, and it was hastily thrown back together last time, so some TLC is in order. I'm keeping the car for sure, but the amount of time I'll have to work on it will be in question. I should have all my "extra duties" finally settled down by the middle of the year, and after that I'll be taking off for multiple Air Force schools. I doubt I'll get to the car this year, but maybe next. Maybe..... Good thing this damn car doesn't eat anything! |

IMO, the E316g will be as much fun as you can imagine for a VERY long time. You can take that turbo all the way through a total FMIC upgrade and many other higher-end mods without exceeding it's capacity. I absolutely loved mine, and I regret the situation that led to my getting rid of it. I ran 660's on it without any problems, but that was at about 22psi on a stock intercooler, so I don't know what one would do on the rocket with it's ginormous front mount. Of course, I have plenty of time to find out now that I get to keep it. |
