I loved my car when I was running that EVO VIII FMIC on it... the only problem that I found was reliability of all those fittings and clamps... I was using high dollar silicone fitings and T bolt clamps, I boost leaked checked my system to over 22 psi in the shop and it lost less than 5 psi over 5 min... but for some reason if I hit over 12 psi of accual boost from the turbo, nothing would hold together.

I need to get around to cutting my fan shroud to fit my FMIC piping... -------------------- If the sound of a DSM in the distance rowing through the gears gives you a hardon, you might be a car enthusiast.

I'm just curious, why would you try to go through the stock IC pipe location in the fenderwell? You could just short route it and go straight up through the radiator panel and go straight to the throttle body. I'm just thinking by short routing it that will save you quite a bit of lag time, especially with the stock turbo.

I'm just thinking by short routing it that will save you quite a bit of lag time, especially with the stock turbo. I didn't have the right piping to run it like that so I had to do what I had to do... When I do a turbo upgrade (16g) I am going to have custom pipes made. -------------------- Dakota D.|1995 Mitsu Eclipse GST

I'm not a big fan of silicone elbows myself. The pipes and couplings look great though. You are a hard worker man. Keep it up.
