Here is the first of what I presume to be many stories from a very talented story teller... Enjoy

Standing impatiently my always late friend enroute, I weighed my options.. Go in, or stay... about that time the radio spoke up, "should I stay or should I go now..." I wonder.. na, he is on the way, Im sure he will be here soon..

So, time passes, and I recline my pilots seat... I nap out...

Awakened by the angry roar of a 4g63T being put through its paces, I lumbered to a seating position.. The echo off the theater to my right was unmistakable... The sound, inspirational. The pilot, certified institutional... or am I just delusional?

Minutes later the street menacing talon comes into a view.. there must of been considerable distance between the time he gave it the beans and now.
No drama, no show... just smooth idle surge...

The movie... sucked.

Exiting, I voiced that I should be heading home, that I had to spend some time with the kids.
That was code for, we have 5 miles of asshattery and driving douschebaggery to look forward to.

Exiting the parking lot, I upshifted to second, cranked the wheel hard left and let the fun pedal fall home... My rears lit up in an instant, hanging the tail out hard, I held that power slid all the way to the speedlimit, and then some.

The talon shrank into my exhaust and tire smoke... must be too cold to beat on her eh? Was it my Jamesbondesk smokescreen?

Not much happened from then till midway through perkisfield township.. once clean and clear of the road blocks, I nodded towards the dsm pilot that the time had come... time to put his money where his mouth is.. time to see how a 500hp dsm stands up against to my 430lb of instantaneous torque...
Second gear, I nod... I hear him downshift... I point forward and he goes for it... My torque advantage was too great. His leave yielded him nothing that I didn't real back in... a nose... a half car... gear shift for me, at 6000rpm... he pulls a little a foot, a nose? But Im in third and now he is the one that has to shift... HAHAHAHAHHA... my M6 banged true... the shift was seamless from second to third and I was deep in my power band... he shifts and falls back.. the turbo comes online, for what seems like a day.. but he has to shut down, for a vw buss was in his way.

I will not say where this riddle shall end.
I can only state how it begins.
For once was a day for the merry,
snowing fields, but quite contrary.
Dsm brothers, and sisters alike.
Play deep, deep, into the snowy night.

When comes along a cantankerous clatter,
Fear not , for it is only an lt1 in tatters..
However, this lt1 has bite!
and bite hard it mite.
into the soul and the heart of its prey.
Let all stones be turned, in showerous spray.

The lt1 was victorious...today...
by default only.

...I didn't say it was true.

I can't believe that no one has commented on this very popular story teller's little speach. Just so everyone's clear, I didn't write that. I posted it for a friend that is not on DSMCentral, but I would think it would be obvious by the writing style. ph34r.gif

That's a possibility.

How goes it J? It was good hanging out with you and the girlfriend the other night.

It's always had balls, but no more than when you ran him. This just happened to be his version of the tale. By my point of view I was ahead and beginning to run away before the brakes were applied. wink.gif
