Where is the option for driver mod?
I voted suspension, because the corners is what I enjoy... but if you are just tooling around on the street, might as well keep it comfy and go with power. A stock G35 should already be excellent in both power and handling... but since you are itching to burn some money on it, get whichever you would enjoy the most. Personally, I enjoy driving my cars around a racetrack, but you may prefer to spend $$ on material goods rather than experiences. |

Both plus the driver mod. DUH!

If you're at least somewhat pleased with suspension I'd move on to power. But that's me. I'm afraid I don't know a thing about that motor you're dealing with.
If it's a real buildup that's going to be taking place, getting the essentials done first won't have as much bang for the buck, but serve every upgrade afterwards very well. For instance, if ultmiately you'll need a fuel pump, injectors, throttle body, intake manifold to best serve the exhaust upgrades and forced induction, it may make sense to start there. A method of tuning can go a long way, as well, with some improvement just on a stock motor as well as optimizing every mod from there on. Another question is what kind of internals need to be improved in order to go FI. What I know is that it's not cheap. *Laugh* But knowing how your motor responds to specific upgrades should help wtih bang for the buck. Good luck and keep us posted! -------------------- ... she likes bein' forced ...

From what I've heard the G35's are supposed to be able to handle most bolt on FI no prob, up to like 6-8psi (One of the vortec kits sits at 8psi, ATI at 6.5/7). According to ATI though, you probably should upgrade fuel pump, injectors, etc.

Take the car to Autobahn and drive the hell out of it!
If you really want to do something, just improve the stance a bit but other than that, it's mint. Wait till you get more miles on it before you open it up and start tinkering. -------------------- my cars breath smells like car food
