So recently i had a little 10mph accident with my bmw 330i which ended the car. I slid in to a ditch and hit a post that was sticking out of the ground and it hit the passenger side rear door and quarter panel which in turn dented in the floor board. Total damage $18424 dollars. Not a single air bag went off. The car looked fine and i think that if it were a less expensive car it would have maybe cost $2000. Anyway heres the good news. I just picked up a 2004 infiniti G35 with only 13000 miles on it. Its mint. Im wondering if a turbo maybe in store for it soon. Hmmm. I guess time will tell. I will keep you guys posted. Let me know what you think though. Oh and yea thats my hot wife standin next to it. I told her to get out of the way but you know how women can be. J/K

That thing is dead sexy. I've admired the G35's for some time now. Congrats!

Without knowing that platform very well, I would lean towards a supercharger. A few years back a 350z with a simple bolt-on blower won the SCC street car award. And that coming from a guy that loves turbos.
Then again if you want all-out-blow-it-up-no-end-to-the-Horse-Power-accross-the-RPM- band, then find a good turbo set-up. In either case you will probably find a low priced and low HP option that does not require management. Or you will need to spend big bucks for a full on management control set-up that will take you over the top. I'd go for the first option. That car looks like it's going a 100mph drinking a martini, while sitting still. You already have a great thing going there. -------------------- In Loving memory of David T Crebo

Greddy has a twin turbo setup. So does JWT, if memory serves me correct. STS just released a rear turbo system, too. Bottom line, turbo or supercharger, the VQ35 LOVES boost.

QUOTE (dualdj1 @ Feb 17 2009, 10:36 AM) I have a buddy that has a G35, will check and see if he's done anything to it. He said he thought about a supercharger, but same deal was looking at stupid money to do it, so he ended up selling the thing and got an Altima coupe. -------------------- 1978 Mustang II King Cobra

I've got a buddy that had a G35 too. He put a bunch of money into it...supercharger, wheels/tires, suspension...but kept breaking the supercharger. I don't know all of the details about it but I do know that he ended up selling it and getting an Evo X. He says even with the mods to the G35, his Evo is quicker and more fun. That may just be new car giddiness, I don't know.

Oh yea im for sure a DSM man at heart and would have loved to have an evo. But this car was much easier to sell my wife on for some reason. I think she knew that if i got and evo most of the parts my GST has would be going on it. Im still looking to find a supercharger thats gonna be reliable for the car. I just want a little more ass in it. Nothing to crazy. I still got my eclipse for all that jazz. If anyone has anymore info i really apreciate all the help. Im looking for all kinds of parts not just a supercharger. So any websites that you know of would be also helpful. Thanks again guys. I love being able to still count on all of the people here on DSM Central to help out even when its not a DSM. Props to all of you guys and for keeping this site alive. Marcus you're the man!!!

The thing I liked about that Stillen stage 2 kit is they offer an engine warranty with it. Not sure the details on it, but that sounds like the best way to go supercharger wise. I'll dig around if I get time and see what else I can find for ya.
