Did anyone watch the 12 Hours of Sebring or the Australian Grand Prix?

I admit I only watched the last 35 minutes of Sebring, but Wow!! Porsche's RS Spyder P2 won overall. First overall win in 20 years! Audi placed 3rd I believe. Johnny O'Connel placed first in GT1, his 7th Sebring victory. That is now an all time Sebring record.

The big event for me was Formula 1. It seriously is the ONLY reason I bumped up my satellite package to get Speed TV. Holy Crap! I never knew how good and cushy the F1 drivers had it with Engine Braking and Traction Control. This year the FIA went to a standard ECU that eliminated these 2 features. The drivers now have to worry about their corner entrance speeds and will force them to apply the dampers a little earlier. The engine now is at full load when they brake, so they now have massive engine braking on the rear.

Speed is replaying the Grand Prix today. If anyone has any interest or you have never heard Formula 1, I strongly urge you to check it out today. It is truly a dawn of a new era in this event.

If anyone knows who Sebastian Bourdais is, holy crap! I have no doubt he'll be on the podium AT LEAST twice this year.

**** NASCAR! Long live road racing!!!!!
