Well, I've got to get mine to start first. Should be ready in no time though. Should look good with my new IC.

Let's just say that the only thing remaining that IS stock is the turbo.

the only thing that I seem to be having a problem with is tuning.
I am making small adjustments with my SAFC II, but it seems that no matter how much I adjust I still hit fuel cut at about 6,000 RPM. am I just not adjusting it enough or is there something else I need to do.... fuel cut is very annnoying. I have been thinking about an eprom ECU with a custom burnt chip, but what can I do until I aquire one??? I also have the 2G style GM MAF translator that has adjustments too... is there something I need to do there??? I plan to do some data logging pulls this week, maybe that will tell me what I need to do. -------------------- You CAN sleep in your car, but your CAN NOT race your house!!!

boost guage shows 14-15 PSI, before the FMIC was hooked up (did not move boost controller) guage showed 16-17 PSI and car ran fine.

I would get an eprom and then get a hold of ncgalant for some tuning. are you logging when your making changes to the AFC? in case your not sure when you adjust the AFC +% it leans it out and -% richens it up. just make sure you log you can kill a motor easily with and AFC, I learned the hard way.

Hey Ben, Did you do a boost leak test yet? That is the only thing I could think of for your lose of boost and fuel cut so early.

That is the only thing I could think of for your lose of boost and fuel cut so early. yes.... boost leak showing up at injector seals... but that seems to be it... but that leaked before too. QUOTE in case your not sure when you adjust the AFC +% it leans it out and -% richens it up. just make sure you log you can kill a motor easily with and AFC, I learned the hard way. I was told opposite on that... and the adjustments made sense seeing as +ing the safc on the side mount made the car backfire through the exhaust (indicating rich) and -ing it made it fuel cut (indicating lean) no I have not been logging on most of my adjustment mostly cause I do not understand the logger and what all of the jargon means on there all I know is the according to the logger I am upwards of 130% injector duty cycle -------------------- You CAN sleep in your car, but your CAN NOT race your house!!!
