I found this on Tuners and figured the other tech-heads might find it interesting, as it covers the hard numbers of stock, stroking, and destroking:

Great find Eric. This paper has a lot of the calculations to state and expound on the differences between the 2.0 and it's stroker variants. I was pleased to see some of the facts behind the results I found with my stroker engines versus my 2.0 engines.
It's nice to know that I truly can make the same peak power with my 2.0 race engine as my old stokers. It's also nice to know that all of my theories for building the stroker 3-4 years ago make mathmatical sense. Good low end torque, quicker spool-up which means better (more use-able) street and auto-x power. -------------------- In Loving memory of David T Crebo
