it's actually running, you just have to type in the continuation of the address manually. It's only the front page that is down. www.centralillinoisdomestics.org/vb3....etc.. works to get people in. |

QUOTE (BudmannG @ Oct 8 2006, 02:45 PM) You cannot have a liscense cover of any kind in Springfield anymore. They will pull you over and give you a $500.00 ticket. No warnings at all! A guy at the gas station told my girlfriend this and she procceeded to kick the car until the covers front/back were broke off and not visible. LOL! I think the popo is just bored or they hired way to many extras with nothing to do but harrass people! Actually the main reason is Chicago. |

QUOTE (AWD DSM 1 @ Oct 6 2006, 02:13 AM) solinoids are gone, save the fuel pressure one also. What's the vaccum resreve tank? that double cylinderical thing in front of the tranny? EGR blockoffs are also being put on. I'm running the stock 14b's for now. The maze of intercooler piping and radiator hoses had me frustrated last night, I think I got them all hooked up right. Amazingly enough, most of the stuff only fits one way. Yes, the twin air tank under the car, it's worthless. If you have twin TD05-14Bs on the car right now you have turbos good enough for low 11s and 125mph + traps without working hard. |

State troopers eat, beathe, and sleep IVC. They will pull people over simply to give a no front plate ticket. |

QUOTE (AWD DSM 1 @ Oct 3 2006, 03:04 AM) QUOTE (Turbo Tension @ Oct 2 2006, 08:56 PM) not sure what's been done, but I can show you a few tricks to clean up your engine bay in a way that makes wrenching a hundred times easier. do tell. I just got done doing some clean up on the vaccum lines, what a PITA those are!! Thinking about moving the battery to the back also. tubohcar.... I'd be more than happy to host a get together if it meant getting shamou back on the road. right now I'm in a bit of a money crunch is the biggest problem though. Gotta get this darn mazda sold to finish up things. You don't need any of the solenoids if you have a boost controller. I kept the fuel pressure one because it does get cold here. That means that the hardlines above the transmission can be pulled off as well as the mess on top of the throttle body. The vacuum tank reserve can be pulled, you don't really need that as driveability is not affected. EGR block-off plates are your friend. Emissions goodbye are your friend. I don't know your turbo setup so I can't advise on that but if I see it I'm sure I could point a few things. |

I tried to register 4 times over the last couple months for the exchange and never received a confirmation email so I don't use it. I only say 8 because they come in sets of 4. |

8 of them, will pay $200 for 8, $100 for 4. I don't want busted ass ones that were dropped on a floor by a 16 year old either please. It seems that's all there is left on EVOm.net. |

QUOTE (BudmannG @ Jul 21 2006, 03:13 AM) Hell yeah! I should be up on Saturday to get it from scorps house. I will bring it home and start tearing into it. My brother in law is going to bring his plasma cutter over and we are going to cut it up. I should be buying a welder and learning how to weld in the process. I am just unsure when I will get the welder. You should be getting insurance, not a welder. What would you be saying if a treebranch had come through the window and knocked your teeth out. |

I think the State police in general are cracking down on ANYTHING. Today driving around BN on 74/55 I saw an unmarked Dakota and an Impala, both blacked out radaring people, in addition to several staties on the north side of town. Last week I was issued warnings at an ISP roadblock on Main and Orlando in Normal for 12-602 no muffler, and no front plate. normal and bloomington PD are speedtrapping all over town now, no joke. Also, I heard of a member of Image's site got in trouble recently, here's some info If the police call you and say they "caught you" or "have evidence" that you were street racing at some place/time and they say you can either turn yourself in or they'll send someone to arrest you, do NOT turn yourself in. More than likely the evidence that they speak of is hearsay and won't hold up in court (if you have a lawyer that doesn't suck). Just say you have no idea what they're talking about and tell them to have a nice day. and AFIAK jurisdictions are mostly a thing of the past. After 9-11 policing, State, County, and Municipal changed in a big way. |

QUOTE (Tw1n Turb0 Z @ Jul 10 2006, 11:41 PM) QUOTE (awd4kicks @ Jul 10 2006, 06:31 PM) Bout time... Now when are they going to catch up to their little bros? Its not going to happen Our breed of cars are just too heavy I bet if you and I dropped 1000lbs off our cars though the Honda guys would fall off the 'they gon suck our dick' tree and hit every branch on the way down. I can't even imagine how fun the car would be to drive, although I would probably need coilovers as the suspension would be...funky. |

QUOTE (awd4kicks @ Jul 10 2006, 11:31 PM) Bout time... Now when are they going to catch up to their little bros? It could happen, this was on a stock 2980cc motor that was thrown together with new bearings, a hone, and just rods/shit around the shop. There is a new 3.7L stroker crank out that uses some insane Ford rods and should hold a LOT more power, AND nitrous. The shit isn't cheap though, the turbo kit he was using is $7,000 alone, not to mention his $2700 clutch, etc.. Those were his Dual BB DR1000s, he's supposedly got some DR1200s with the same center cartridge that should give even MORE top end. I'm hoping he could run a sub 9.5 in the car at Houston, but for now it's all at 3600 feet. |

The powertrain in a full weight car was going 10.7@~137mph so the 100lbs off = .1 ET and +1mph seems pretty true, as the car weighs a little over 1000lbs less than a full weight VR4 (so I'm told) |

apparently a stripped interior stealth with just shy of 1100 crank horsepower (750awhp) went 9.7@151mph tonight. |
