I was wondering what mods you have done to the 9 that made 331 on AMS`s dyno. I have an 8. I see you have a cat back but you have to be running more than that to get 330`s. Please share if you dont mind.

Sorry guys but it looks like the evo is staying in Btown this weekend. My girlfriends bday is on Sat and we are going out and I can say almost for sure I am not going to be up for the drive up there. Good luck to all.

That sucks. The same thing happened to me. Do you need a 6 or 7 bolt flywheel?

Ok every car is different and your idle problem could be caused by messing with the mas screw. My car also did the cold blooded thing. I think that is normal. Also your injectors determine how much fuel goes into the car. If u think your are running lean then your stock fuel pump cant keep up. Do not worry about too much fuel with stock injectors

Also why are you waiting to install the fuel pump until you get a FPR. Your stock FPR is putting out 43psi. Put in the fuel pump now and maybe to a rewire on it too.

I used a Megan FPR on my 2g talon. Worked good. Also you cant log knock on a 2g. You need to tune based on timing advance. Now you say the car is running like crap. PLease explain. An EGT would be a great tool to see how lean you are running. how much boost are you running? Have you done a leak down test on the car. If you have a boost leak it will be hard to tune the car. Are you running a piggy back or any engine management? Without one you will not be able to change a thing.

PLEASE EXPLAIN RUNS LIKE CRAP!!!

True, but there's no reason to pick apart the language that I used to type my intent, because I am no literary giant. Plus I can explain my intent on this thread just as we are doing.

The Mitsubishi 16g turbo is approved for the stock classes. biggthumpup.gif

Black92_tsi has nothing to worry about from any stinking 16g! His 14b rules!

That works for me.

QUOTE (Spyonu2007 @ May 7 2007, 11:03 PM)
The 16g is considered a stock oem turbo.

My fault I thought he was running a bigger turbo than that. But I am still wondering how you would consider a 16g turbo to be a stock turbo on a 1g?
