The goal is simple. All around awesomeness.

I took the car to the track for the Hangover Fest and managed a 11.95 @ 115.86 mph. Car is setup as follows.

Stock 7 bolt with ARP head studs.
Big 16g I rebuilt
Punishment FMIC
3" exhaust, stock o2 housing.
2g exhaust manifold
FIC BlueMax 1250 injectors
Jay Racing 341 intank pump (270lph at 70psi operating pressure)
KYB AGX Struts/Ground Control coilover sleeves

Putting on the Jay Racing Toe Eliminator soon.

11.95 at around 27psi of boost.

Trying to figure out where I want to take it next..

So after the 1G I got didn't work out, I've been parting it out and should have it completely gone on Saturday.

A buddy is buying my transmission from TRE as well. I will have ~$2500 on hand when all is said and done.

Friend of mine has a 95 for sale. Didn't say if AWD or FWD but I want the GSX. Has 133k miles on it. Black. Clean. Only rust is on rear quarter. 5spd.

I'm a little leery though because of all this I hear about crankwalk and things like that. I have a couple spare things off the 1G I could throw on it (BOV, boost controller)

What should I look out for? I know to look for strut tower rust and things like that now... smile.gif

Alright sounds good.

I just got a full exhaust (header, cat delete, catback) for the Cavalier along with an intake, intake mani, cams and supporting valvetrain, and forged internals for it (11:1 compression). My mom and dad said no to the Talon after I hit that deer so I got the Cavalier for an autocrosser now...

My buddy recently got a 93 Ford Probe GT for $350. Runs decent. He supposedly did new plugs and wires at midas but they look the same as when he got it (Dirty plugs and corroded wires...)

Anyways, when you really get on it in his car, it picks up very nice at around 4-5k RPM (VRIS kicking in?) but it seems like it has a bit of trouble pulling to 7k RPM. Everything is stock at the moment as well.

Also, after 160 miles of mostly city driving, his car was hot. Gauge read fine but his car just smelled hot and radiated heat. The "tranny tunnel" was hot too.

His coolant is straight coolant. Not 50/50... (He's a dumbass... i know") so I figure that may be part of it.

We have Sea Foamed his car and it helped. Needs done again because it blew a TON of carbon out. Anything else I should have him do?

Picked up a 1992 Eagle Talon TSI AWD 6bolt w/ 4bolt rear for $900 today. Definitely a project for me.

Needs the interior detailed due to mold. Needs some interior panel TLC.

Transmission grinds. Needs syncros replaced.

New plugs: NGK-R

Went to replace the PCV valve and the piece that covers the threaded area broke... now I need a new valve cover... oh joy. Is $75 reasonable for one or does anyone have one I can have? It'd be greatly appreciated.

Experienced fuel-cut in 2nd gear at 5k RPM. This thing is the fastest car I've driven to date...

So I have my work cut out for me. Any comments/suggestions are welcome.

For those wondering, it's treydawg's Talon he had for sale.
