I may try to make this event in May. I will be in the 4wd Dodge though. I have yet to find me another car, so sad!

When I had creep on the 1g, it was caused by an exhaust leak. Check all your gaskets and bolts again.

I had this problem with the 1G. I had a white powder (or that is what it looked like) inside the plug holes. My plug boots were sparking of the head, which made the white residue in the plug chamber.

Just an idea, and my 2 cents.

How old are the caps in the ecu? The 1g also did that with a bad ecu. I could drive for 2 hours and then it would act like it was losing power and cut out bad. Then it would just die and I had to wait for the ecu to cool down before I could start it again.

I am not going to buy this car.

1. I don't want to have to pay for the car twice. It is going to cost about the same to fix it as it is to buy it.
2. The WOMAN put her foot down and said NO!
3. I think I am going to finally buy another motorcycle this year.

I wount have much money after this roof is done that I am working on so I figured I would just buy a bike this year. Next year will come the DSM! When we are in a new home with a bigger garage.

Sorry I got everyones hopes up! But I am honestly going to have to pass on the car. Don't get me wrong I was excited too, until I found out what it would cost to fix it.
I WILL HAVE ANOTHER DSM!!!!!!

OK, I have a good question.

I want to know if this will cause the front wheels to not pull the car? Asiankid said that he had the same problem but the front wheels still pulled the car. I don't think this is true in my own mind. Nothin against you kid!
But when the drivers side half shaft came out on my 1g it acted like it was slipping also. Almost like a bad clutch. Is it sending all the power from the tranny to the rear wheels? Could this also mean no LSD?
Just a few questions running through my head.

My cousin Jeremy came down today and helped me diagnos the car. We have found out that it is in the rearend. When the car is in any gear it will turn the drive shaft that runs the rear tires. But the tires are not moving, LOL. So I think I am going to need a pinion gear or a whole new rearend. biggthumpup.gif

I was either thinking about replacing the tranny in it or do a manual swap on it. I am getting it for a hell of a deal also. The only reason I am thinking about buying it this way is because it was is my cousins car.

I am thinking about buying a 95 auto Talon.

Problem is it wount move on it's own. When I put it in gear you can feel it engage into gear. But when you give it the gas it wount pull itself. It feels like something is spinning in the rear of the car. I was thinking he might have snapped a half shaft off in the rear pumpkin. Do any of you have any ideas?

I was also wondering are the 1G and 2G auto trans the same? biggthumpup.gif

Thanks guys!

So I should take it to the dealer to get the tranny service done? Do the guys at a fast lube place do this work also? Or can I do it myself?

If you remember Rob I said in another thread that it was shifting hard and it won't go into drive until you are over 35 mph. Does yours do this also?

I have also got myself another DSM. But it is one that will take a while to build and get right. Now that I have this truck I am not to worried about having one to drive. I hope to make it into the drag car that I want.

I had a good Birthday on Monday. My fiance went and bought me a 95 Dodge Ram 1500 4x4. First 4wd truck I ever owned.

I had been working on her for 5 weeks to try and get this truck. From the first day I drove it I have been nagging at her about it. Then we got that big snow storm, and she had to walk to the store in all that crap. I gave her a rash of shit then about oh boy!
Well I finally get her to goto the bank to get the money for it. I then call the car lot that has it (a friend of mine for many years). I proceed to tell him that she went to the bank and we will pick it up on Monday. I then said it's not sold is it? He said yes, I was like WTF! I finally get her on the ball and now it is sold to someone else. Needles to say I was mad at the world.
Well last friday night my sister from out of town came to town. My woman couldn't contain herself any longer. So they use the excuse that they are going to look at a house that we want to buy. At 8pm at night! My sisters boyfriend stayed here and chatted with me while they were gone. I was to ingrossed trying to repair my website to notice the time they went to look at the house.
She get's back and hands me a big envelope. This envelope has a skin for my laptop of Dale Jr's number 8 car! HELL YEAH! I was happy with that. I grabbed the envolope to do the ole double check and there is a smaller envelope inside. HUH, What the hell? So I open it and out slides this Dodge key ring with a note attached. The note said to look outside and you will see your gift. Now guy's I don't like admitting it, but I cryed like a baby.
This was the best Birthday ever! biggthumpup.gif

Have you looked to see how it is connecting? It should have a way to change it from sync cable to blue tooth and another option. But make sure it is set to sync cable. Try booting your computer up with it connected.
I am not much help unless it is setting in front of me, Sorry. biggthumpup.gif

Do you have all the palm software on your pc? Is all the mmcd software on your pc? This will have alot to do with it also.

First get the palm software from there website. Run it and then try your mmcd software. It should work fine after that.
