Problems with a 95 auto tranny

I am thinking about buying a 95 auto Talon.

Problem is it wount move on it's own. When I put it in gear you can feel it engage into gear. But when you give it the gas it wount pull itself. It feels like something is spinning in the rear of the car. I was thinking he might have snapped a half shaft off in the rear pumpkin. Do any of you have any ideas?

I was also wondering are the 1G and 2G auto trans the same?

My Birthday Gift

I had a good Birthday on Monday. My fiance went and bought me a 95 Dodge Ram 1500 4x4. First 4wd truck I ever owned.

I had been working on her for 5 weeks to try and get this truck. From the first day I drove it I have been nagging at her about it. Then we got that big snow storm, and she had to walk to the store in all that crap. I gave her a rash of shit then about oh boy!
Well I finally get her to goto the bank to get the money for it. I then call the car lot that has it (a friend of mine for many years). I proceed to tell him that she went to the bank and we will pick it up on Monday. I then said it's not sold is it? He said yes, I was like WTF! I finally get her on the ball and now it is sold to someone else. Needles to say I was mad at the world.
Well last friday night my sister from out of town came to town. My woman couldn't contain herself any longer. So they use the excuse that they are going to look at a house that we want to buy. At 8pm at night! My sisters boyfriend stayed here and chatted with me while they were gone. I was to ingrossed trying to repair my website to notice the time they went to look at the house.
She get's back and hands me a big envelope. This envelope has a skin for my laptop of Dale Jr's number 8 car! HELL YEAH! I was happy with that. I grabbed the envolope to do the ole double check and there is a smaller envelope inside. HUH, What the hell? So I open it and out slides this Dodge key ring with a note attached. The note said to look outside and you will see your gift. Now guy's I don't like admitting it, but I cryed like a baby.
This was the best Birthday ever!

1G Big rod?

Is there a way to tell the difference between the 1G big rod and one that is not? Are there markings or something on them?

I want to know who might make this event. I might be able to get a parking lot for all of us to set at. But I want to know if there is going to be quantity cars.
I will also be posting this on Gateway and Midwest Illinois DSM. This is a huge event every year. They have all kinds of cars and trucks that show up for the cruise night. It is a great time had by all.

I would like to see all of you guys try to make it out. Car, Bike, or Truck come and join us!!!!

That would be a great showing all of these DSMs there. I just kinda need a head count to see if I need to get a parking lot. Post up people!!!!!!

Car keeps dieing!

So here is the story that goes with the problem.

I went out to tune earlier and seen a 91 awd out of the coener of my eye. I thought to myself, I have to go by and make sure that is what it was. So I did that, and yes it was a 91 AWD red with the stupid wing on it like the fast and the furious. So I stopped and talked to them.

After I left there, I went down the blacktop that is close to me. I did a 3rd gear pull and it felt strong and pulled hard. I looked at the log I took from that run and no knock all the way through the power band. So I turn around and try it again. This time my pc had shut down on me so no log. But when I get to the stop sign it is idling way low, so I tap the gas to give it a rev and see if I can bring it back up. Didn't work out like I was wanting it to.

I then pull away from the stop sign and go through first then second. I hit third and laid it to the floor! It took off and did what it was supposed to for me. Then I push the clutch in to coast to a stop and the motor dies. WHY? I don't know! So I coast all the way to my turn and let out the clutch in fourth gear and it catches and starts. No big deal right, WRONG!

I got to the next stop and it dies again. When I got to my drive way it did it again. WHY? I know I got a boost leak at the PCV. But it shouldn't cause this thing to die like it is. I am confused about what is going on. I checked all the settings in DSM Link and they are the same as they have been.

Does anyone have any ideas?

3" gm mafs and translator
front mount w/ hard piping
Hallman MBC set at 19psi
50 trim turbo
44mm wastegate w/ open dump
turbo xs rfl BOV open dump
850cc FIC injectors

The last pull I did it had 2.5 counts of knock at 3200 rpm and went away at 4700 rpm. And my A/F ratio doesn't get any lower than 10.00.
