Man that was a great run. I remember it well. If I recall, we went, I spooled sooner or had more traction, you ended up running me down by the end of fourth, but its been a few years.

I recall riding shot gun in Shamou (I think) neck and neck with a Saleen Mustang, blowing by driveways at triple digit speeds on a road that starts with 'G'. That made me want to change my shorts!
I also recall a story of that big '3000GTO' careening through a 90 degree turn fully sideways at WOT with open exhaust, in the middle of the night. Oh yeah... I also remember Dan holding a long black radiator hose up as his man hood, and boldly stating to Susan that he was Darryl! HAHA. Both her and Darryl were laughing their asses off over that. I think that was ONE of the nights that we thrashed on our cars until 4am only to have the drag race cancelled due to rain that morning! There are SO many great stories... -------------------- In Loving memory of David T Crebo

I thought of another good one and I do not believe that it has been posted yet,
Back in the days when Kicks in his awd, natedogg had a fwd marroon one and I had the original black 93 with 144 riding shot gun.. We went three wide over in East Peoria Creve core area.. Kicks and I leaving Ndogg in the dust out of the hole, by third gear kicks was pulling on me and at the same time nate was running me down.. I think that was the first three way (race) I had ever experienced. -------------------- Need a boost in the pocket book and with your health?

Hell yeah! That old fwd was shit out of the hole, but man did come on hard when it found traction.
