I put a few miles on the GVR4 the last couple weeks.. Need to replace my heater core so I have heat and can drive it more..
My list of things I need to do this year. 1. Fix wiring 2. Replace heater core 3. Find a replacement trans 4. Drive the shit out of it -------------------- ┌∩┐(◣_◢)┌∩┐

Put about 30 more miles on the car tonight.. It drove perfect other then freezing my ass off. The way it drive you would almost be tempted to take it on a road trip.

If the Galant is anything like my 1G, you shouldn't have to pull the whole dash. I just removed the glove box and laid upside down in the passenger seat to pull the blower, AC evaporator, and heater core. Not super comfortable, but less work than pulling the dash.
