Is there a update yet? I know it has only been like a day, but they should be able to do that pretty easy right?

Thanks, Bud!

i'm curious to see the results.. i've heard myths that the evo intercooler isnt much of an improvement over stock... how that could be possible, i have no idea!
its a shame that they are gonna do 1-off pipes instead of making a jig and building pipes for people that upgrade to an evo cooler.

ummm.... the update doesn't look pretty right now.....

aprox $900 looks like a lot to be payin right now and I know that it will be a while before I can save up that kind of cash.....

their hourly rate is about $72/hour

times about 6 hours labor
+ about $200 in aluminum piping
+ about $120 in silicone couplers
+ about $100 in a custom bent j-pipe
not to mention what uncle sam will want for his share

god thats hard to come up with...... kind of hard to justify in my own mind also... especially when I didn't pay close to that for the intercooler.

holy lord!!!

well i guess i'm down to buying an intercooler kit, or just fabbing up my own pipes

for me to spend that kind of money, the setup would have to out-perform ic kits in the same price range by alot!

sorry to hear its gonna cost so much, but at least it will be quality work

i know its not quite as large an undertaking, but i will be building my own uicp soon. i'm gonna try to pick up some mandrel bends from a friend locally. but if i cant get him to let them go, i may just pie slice it. i'm gonna try to get in a friends shop to use his tig, but i may have to use a mig on it.. guess it doesnt really matter either way. then i'll take the piece and have it powdercoated.
i will of course post pictures cuz i am a nerd like that biggthumpup.gif
if it goes smoothly, i may pick up an evo intercooler and fab my own pipes.

Just fab up your own with some ordered stuff out of Summit or Jegs and buy the couplers from some place like www.turbohoses.com. It'd be alot cheaper.
