Mitsubishi has dropped quite a few concepts on SEMA, this one being the most interesting. It is called the Ralliart Eclipse and has a HKS tuned 400hp 4G63T from an EVO, 6 speed MR box, and AWD. No plans to build it, but just showing that it could be done:

Ok so as some of you may know, somehow my stock exhaust cracked in half awhile back. I drove around with it like that for awhile and then from my cat to half way back on the pipe where the crack was, fell off. I have been driving around with the exhaust consisting of only the downpipe and what was left of the pipe behind the muffler for awhile now because I just don't have the money to get it all fixed at the moment. Yesterday, on the highway the downpipe fell off. Basically, right now my exhaust consists of only the manifold going right into the open.

Question, how bad is it to drive without any exhaust piping whatsoever? I won't have the money to get it fixed for awhile yet and I may not have a choice but to drive it on certain occasions. I don't wanna mess up my GSX for something as stupid as this, so I am just curious how bad it is to drive with the exhaust basically non-existant.

Thanks ahead of time for any input,
Dylan

I'm sure this has happened to at least 1 other person, but, maybe not.

Anyways, my stock exhaust somehow cracked in half early last week while I was on the highway, had a very unique, yet sort of grungy sound to it. Every now and then I could also hear my turbo spool down through the exhaust and the spool time was much faster.

So today I'm coming home from college on the highway and I start to hear a clinking noise from under the car, my exhaust couldnt hold itself up anymore. I just hope'd that it didn't fall off by the time I got home, it had other plans. I was almost home when all the sudden my car sounds loud as all hell and i stopped hearing the clinking noise.... look in my rearview and see my cat and a little bit of pipe rolling around on the road.

Anyways, our cars sound like freakin' semi's if they are ran off of the stock downpipe. It sounds pretty damn good actually, but wow is it ever loud. I don't know how long I'll be able to stand it, lol.

EDIT: gsxracer80, I'm not sure if I will still be able to get you my stock exhaust.... it seems to have deterated. If you can't find anybody else with what what you need, let me know and I should have it fixed by then, unless I just say screw it and let it run like this.

Stock brakes, but the pads are basically gone. Any suggestions for a certain well known brand/type for DSM's?
