"They said it was out there - hell, I even thought I'd seen it myself. Big, intimidating, hairy sonofabitch from all accounts. Built and shaped into the monster it was to be before it even came to these woods."
"Once here it was the new legend. Rumor had it that it went through alcohol like domestics go through rear rubber. And when downing the stuff he was even meaner still. With all that pedigree and temper he was nothing to be messed with - something to avoid." "The call went out. He was to be roaming once more. Reaping destruction throughout the peaceful forest. If this legend were true, he must be stopped. How else do you stop such a beast than with a Silver Bullet ..." Hell, it was personable enough. No threats, no need to put the smack down on any individual from some minority group. Darkness made it a little more nerve-wracking. I've worked on what I've considered a balky shifter and he claimed he'd gotten to know his own better. I've got a road-racing setup. His is balls-out strip built. I've got the cheap, simplistic flash. He's got the uber-tuning setup with gauges and flashing lights assaulting the interior of his ride. The strip was open. We lined up at the tree. Three tones rang out. My high-performance all seasons with 30,000 miles began to spin into a haze. Fortunately, they began to hook up quickly enough. I've only recently gotten better at finding the next gear before fuel-cut and managed to get the shift down. The sideview said I'd blown him out on the launch. Second got more. An adequate shift to third and then fourth kept him in the rear view. "The mangy silver beast's coat flashed in the moonlight. Barrel gleamed and site levelled. The shot rang out and the creature spun into the ground in a heap. But the round had eluded his cold, shrunken heart and he rose up. Teeth gnashing, claws raking at the air, he launched into an attack..." The second attempt was a bit clumsy on both parties. Timing and engagement at the third tone was for shit. But he'd not transitioned from starter to driver well either - according to later, unverified reports. Once engaged the launch itself was much better. The results the same. Recognizable headlights through a haze of dust in the rear view. "The second and final shot rang out. This one was true. The shock and that primal rage frozen on his face as the frigid, shrunken muscle beat it's last beat. Felled like a tree, the moonlight lit the shining carcass through night's mist." "Beware the Silver Sasquatch no more. The Silver Bullet protects these woods." -------------------- ... she likes bein' forced ...

Even though that Vid doesn't show everything... it was evident that the white rabbit was more than a hand-full for the 35R. Both are crazy fast machines and surprisingly close on the road.
I can't wait to see all these cars on the hunt again. -------------------- In Loving memory of David T Crebo

I hope for the best!
I just know 'Should' and 'will' often have two totally different outcomes from what I've seen from the car scene over the past few years. I've been the poster child for that little bit of experience for quite some time now. -------------------- In Loving memory of David T Crebo

Yep, it's definitely spy: obscure as ever.
I guess it doesn't matter. Just bring it out. I guess I'd just say: don't expect to run from a roll. See you/it/whatever on the track. -------------------- ... she likes bein' forced ...

Safe racing, not double clutching like you should... You ask any racer... it doesnt matter if you win by an inch, or a mile... Winnings winning... I think its high time you throw in the hat old man and we race the snake. Touge style, G.V.D If you dont know G.V.D, ask ODT about the tsi/vr4 touge of yesteryear... Your going down houghbrow. Wow, exactly what are you challenging? Forgive my not being in on some of what the hell you're babbling about here... -------------------- ... she likes bein' forced ...

The Touge is like the popular Olimic Winter games 'Louge'. Except in this form, the participants must wear Toga's. It makes for a cold ride, but the two man touge presents some wild sights that only the gay or bi crowd can respect.
How this relates exactly to your EVO's I'm not quite certain... -------------------- In Loving memory of David T Crebo
