Anybody else see this video yet?

The lack of engine noise takes some getting used to...

I've read rumors that the next Evo will be electric. I've also read that Mitsu had an electric Evo running around back in 2005 with a motor at each wheel.

You guys hear about this?

My son picked up a 95 3000GT with a 5 speed a couple of months ago. It's just the base model. It only has 111K on it and is in really good shape. However, now he says the clutch is slipping. He's been looking at them on the internet and pretty much has it narrowed down to an ACT or a Spec. I don't plan on doing it myself but was wondering what everyone suggests for the brand.

Anybody know anything about a 95 GSX for sale in Mattoon with 125K on it? It looks like it has had 3 owners, the first for 68K, the second up to 124K, and the third up to 125K (says bought for a project car but lost interest).

Just wondering if anyone knows if it has had the snot beat out of it or if it is in decent shape. I'm looking for my 17 year old son.

If anyone is interested in a much less expensive alternative to a K&N air filter, you can check out a Spectre air filter. I ordered one off of Amazon for $27 (free shipping) and there is a $10 mail in rebate on it. That's a lot less than a comparable K&N filter of around $75.

Here is the link to Spectre's site for the IX drop in filter that I ordered:
http://www.spectreperformance.com/#CATALOG.888208

Here is the rebate (good until June 30, 2010):
http://www.jegs.com/rebates/spectre/Spectre2010.pdf

Spectre rates all of their filters for cfm and hp. This particular filter is rated 1120cfm and 510hp before it becomes a restriction.

They also said that they have seen gains in the 2-3hp range by installing this filter which is in line with what I read where others have done dyno testing and the only thing changed was going to a K&N filter.

As far as filtering ability, on the box it says "All Speed by Spectre hpR filters are tested at independent labs using ISO 5011 standards, and have been proven to filter 99.6% of particles."
