In my experience the 272/264 cam combo is really well matched for a 14b or 16G. More midrange and faster spool. If you like I can get you a set from Brian Crower for $340 plus shipping. biggthumpup.gif

Guess I need to get my butt in gear and do somthing with this tial v-band housing I have for my 42R. Robert @ FP said that it would spool better than the cast T4 housings.

Currently taking donations to buy the header from shearer. :-)

I've been looking at doing this for quite some time now. It's just the matter of comming up with the money to get it going. I'm planing on running 1000cc primarys and 1600cc seconarys. According to the math I'm going to be close to the limit with the air that the GT4202RV can move.

Here is the formula for any fuel.

sAFR = (%ofAdditive * sAFRadditive + (100-%ofAdditive) * sAFRgas) /100

Also this is a simpler way..
Take E85 for example..

sAFR = .85 x 9 + .15 x 14.7
sAFR = 9.855

And for calculating from a known 12.5 FAR to what you would need to run with a blend...
Again E85 as an example..

FAR= (12.5/14.7 ) x 9.855
FAR= 8.380

I pull the drivers side axle, remove the drivers side motor mount, and then jack up the motor. You will have more than enough room to get it out though the bottom or the top.

QUOTE (awd4kicks @ Feb 23 2007, 06:44 PM)
Good show guys.

Chris, keep in mind that a guy with a normally large FP3065 is also envious on the GT42! laugh.gif

It's so true!

I took a picture of the GT37 because that's all I have laying around right now, and it uses the same compressor housing as the FP30 series turbos. I sent the 3065 back to FP to be checked over and some modifications done to it. That's why I didn't have my turbo in the pics.

That would be a deciding factor. When are you expecting to see the turbo start to make boost, and full boost?

I just booked the shipping wieght on this one and it's 53LBs.

Andy, why did you go with the duel 44mm gates. Had you considered Tial's new 60mm waste gate?

I just got this turbo for a customer, and it is HUGE!! The GT37 uses the same compressor housing as the FP30 series turbos. Enjoy.

I wish I could afford a 42R, header, waste gate, ect for my car.....alas I'll have to settle for the ol'3065.
