Ditto that. Happy holidays and a great New Year to everyone! I went out on the 25th with the light snowfall and did some parking lot snow-nuts and maximum dorifto slaloms and had a blast! |

I've got one that you can have if you want. It's a palm 105 that hasn't been used in years. I'll be in town in mid oct to give it to you, if you can wait that long. |

very possible that I could make it, yes. Saturday would be slightly better, but friday is do-able. Go ahead and buy the ticket if you're sure you're going and I'll pay for it either way. what time you thinking about leaving to make the drive up? PM me if you'd like or email, you've got it. |

can you reserve me a ticket? I'm not 100% on the dates, but it is very possible for me to be in IL at that time. |

You plannin on doing anything to the Porche? Yeah! Pay it off! Srsly though, after that just the stuff needed to properly maintain and keep the car in excellent condition. Wishlist would probably consist of a very nice moton or ohlins suspension, HRE wheels, litronic factory light upgrade, RS3 front bumper fascia, ICE, recaro seats, short shift kit, fabtech exhaust, supercharger and a chip. Could get it up to about 400whp, but it would take some serious $$$. |

I liked his early work, and yes his style for all his builds is similar, but it's still amazing to me nonetheless. His artistic ability is some of the best I've ever seen, he has the mark of a true artist (can see things from any angle, including drawing upsidedown and backwards) I also really like Rad Rides by Troy (http://www.radrides.com/home.php), specifically the Chicayne and the Quadraduece (pics under Gallery) Troy does good work! I had a buddy (if you guys remember, its koolaid/Blake) who used to live near him in Mantino or wherever and he's got tons of pics of his project cars. he used to hang out near the shop and that's kinda what got him hooked on cars. |

What I'd miss is the ability to keep tabs on everybody more than car content nowadays. Cars just aren't nearly as important to me as they used to be, but I do value the friendships that I've made on the site and it would make keeping in touch that much more difficult. I don't do any of the minutia-based socialmedia stuff, so this is one of a small number of channels that I keep open with the outside world. I've been meaning to do a post about my car just to talk about something car-related again but haven't found the time to really do it yet. ...I guess I'm hoping that nobody equates lack of participation as apathy. |

Classy, moderately fast, and most of all... the ladies LOVE it! Trust me, you don't want anything to do with those types of ladies... ...so just send them my way. Congrats on the car. Back in my pre-DSM days, I had an '86 325i and I loved it. I should never have strayed from the German cars. |

Gotta love the sst transmission on the MRs. The transmission is magic. I test drove one in March and it was like falling in love with my 8 all over again. I put it in sport mode and it works amazingly well. It's definitely an improvement over the old platform and it's definitely still an evo at heart. |

Take the car to Autobahn and drive the hell out of it! If you really want to do something, just improve the stance a bit but other than that, it's mint. Wait till you get more miles on it before you open it up and start tinkering. |

Is this what you are thinking about? They're my top picks from what I've found for Tork. I didn't see anything listed as gunmetal though. Lots of 'hyper-black' |

you sold your bike dan? That thing was scary fast. I'd have sold it too, after I wiped off the jism and fecal material. It's an odd sensation when you realize that you've ejaculated and crapped your pants at the same time -- while doing 145. |

Looking good buddy! Is that fuel tank baffled to help with the sump and prevent sloshing when you pull those 1.3g turns? Oh wait, it's a mustang, so the only time it's going to see close to that kind of force is if you smash it into a fixed object. |

I remember dieing laughing when that flimsy gasket gave out on one of the runs and everybody was freaking out. It was kind of scary hearing something let go after watching the thing get glowing red and hearing the car at full volume. Those headers really were crap. The dingleberry laden manifolds from Summitt were actually worse though. |

Love that car. When I get a chance I'm going to upload one of my top 5 favorite car pics to this thread. It's a blacked out G35 that's lowered with a grill on black-centered, polished lip SSR Professor's with a nasty dish in the rear. Simple, elegant, and gorgeous. As far as the turbo/supercharger debate goes, I'd say that if money were no option, I'd go with the APS twin turbo kit. When I worked at GRD they only installed that kit on the VQ engine and the workmanship on the parts was outstanding. Think Full-Race quality. If you can't swing +7K for a turbo kit or want the responsiveness of a supercharger, then I've always been partial to the HKS rotrex kit but that may not be nearly enough power for your crazy ass. What's wrong with keeping it relatively stock? Maybe some nice rims, a grill, and that alcantra interior I fell in love with. A high class car like this deserves some good stuff. |

I think the aforementioned homersecksual 'rock owner also drove a nude suzuki 2 wheeler, right garner? Man, I'm getting a tingly feeling in my colon just thinking about it. I take it that you and Steve-O are out the outs? Lover's quarrel? lol That video is pretty clean though, eh? I think my favorite part is the Golf that they converted to awd and put the murcielago V12 in it with a MR layout. I'm not a big VW or golf fan, but I think there's something cool about a company that will mesh up that kind of gear in order to keep the Golf fanboys drooling. Those wacky Germans! |

lol. I've always thought that it would be a good business idea to run a service that people can hire to come to their home and do preventative maintenance for cars. Stuff like oil changes, replace wiper blades, flush coolant, change simple belts and hoses. I wouldn't have to be anything complicated, just the bread and butter stuff that Jiffy Lube and those types of shops do. An enterprising individual could get a panel van, stock it up with the basic tools and supplies and just cruise around town doing ultra-simple shadetree type stuff. |
