2X DB Drag Event & Car Show

Best Buy & DB Drag racing are sponsoring a 2X DB Drag event and car show on Saturday August 21, 2004 at the O'Charly's Parking lot in Lafayette Indiana. There will be a $100 Best Buy Gift Card for the highest SPL in each category (e.g. street, super street, extreme, etc.). Certificates for 1st place in each class from the DB Drag association.

The time starts at 11:00 A.M. The car show is sponsored by eye-rev and already has 200+ cars registered for the show.

WTB:420A Oil Pan

I am looking to buy an oil pan for my 420a Engine. I just had a new one built and my old oil pan has a hole where the rod went through. The engien is for a 98 Eclipse 2.0 420A engine.

420a Clutch

I have a 98 2.0 420 Motored Eclipse. I am getting ready to put in a new 420a motor (yes I know it's still a 420a). I have been told I am looking at replacing a 1 piece clutch which is about twice as expensive as the Japanese Eclipse motors. Is this true? I thought 95 only had this funky clutch.

Pulley rubbing

The pulley on my 1998 2.0 non-turbo started rubbing yesterday. It has started to run into the side of my overflow bottle and the air conditioning lines underneath. My overflow bottle has marks from the top of the pulley digging into it. It has always been a tight fit, but it appears to have gotten worse. It just used to think it was the bottle bracket, but now it is not that. Has anyone else experienced this? I am fearing the worst. Things like messed up motor mount, etc. Just trying to narrow down what to look for. I am going to try and investigate this some more in the next day or so.

Turbo Kit for 98 2.0?

I was searching through the archives and did not find much discussion on turbo kits for a non-turbo 2G Engine. I have a 98 stock 2.0 with some minor bolt ons. I am looking into a turbo kit. Who here has done this? What kinds of electronics do you need to upgrade? ECU?

Any kit recommendations? I am not looking for crazy power, just a nice entry level kit.
