 My father is in the finals of a contest with the Cubs to sing the 7th inning stretch at a game in Wrigley field and we need your vote for him to win! He entered the contest by sending in an online form months ago-- it was a long shot. From thousands of participants who submitted an online form, he was selected and took a trip up to Chicago a week ago, along with 1000 other people who made the 1st cut, to tell the Cubs why he wanted to sing for them and give them an audition. view the video here You guessed it...He made that cut too!! So now he's part of just 50 people who have their audition videos online for the entire world to see. I took pity on him and voted for him to win. I hope you do too! My dad's name is Tom, and I'm sure that if you view the other videos listed for today (July 29th), you'll agree that he's the best. I'm not really a baseball fan, but my father is definitely into this contest, so I say GO CUBBIES!!! He'd have my vote, but for some reason when I click on the link his name doesn't come up as one of the contestants. Only five to choose from.

What!? That is awesome!! I hate baseball but that is sweet. I also clicked on the link and didnt see him on there. Let me know if you figure out whats going on with it. Tell your dad i said good luck!

Thanks guys, I'll let you know the results when I find out.
The reason why some of you saw a different set of 5 names is because the way they've structured the contest is that there are 50 finalists, and 5 will be shown each day for 10 days. My dad's day was 29-Jul, so unfortunately, that was the only day to vote for him. -------------------- my cars breath smells like car food
