QUOTE (AWD DSM 1 @ Jul 4 2006, 12:11 PM) yep.... r/t .528 60' 2.108 330 5.861 1/8 8.985 mph 82.17 1000 11.658 1/4 13.935 mph 98.54 At least I made it out of the 14's! This time was completely untuned on 18psi, 93 octane, full weight 14b car. I just noticed... Rob's got my motor in his car and still can't run my time! I'm still a 100th of a second faster! Gig gig gig gigggity!!! Just playin Rob, you saw how stripped down the interior was on that thing. Basically I was the same way, untuned on 18psi (overrunning the flapper door to get there). Believe me, I only made 5 runs that day and that thing definitely has more left in it. Good luck! -------------------- "I hear he tunes the space shuttle also...and that thing is fast"

BTW, I definitely would like a matchup. Camaro vs. your DSM. For old times sake and just for strict comparison of my old car versus the new one.

QUOTE (black92_tsi_awd @ Sep 2 2006, 06:57 AM) Got a new best tonight, ALMOST bested you're 14B time Marcus!! 9/2/06 r/t .266 60' 1.786 330 5.274 1/8 8.120 mph 85.95 1000 10.601 1/4 12.686 mph 108.03 20 psi, still on the 14b with a Supra SMIC Full weight except for rear seat removed I can scan the slip and email next week. Darryl can validate also I just got home, it's 2 AM and I don't think I can sleep! Whew...That couldn't get much closer without you taking me down a notch. Your MPH is definitely faster, I think you can reach the 12.5 Chris. Heck, if your 60ft. time was 1.70 like mine you would have been at 12.60 or better anyway. BTW - The lists are updated -------------------- In Loving memory of David T Crebo

What fuel were you running Chris? With the upgraded fuel system were you able to run 93 octane to this level?

Here's mine. 23PSI running pig rich and 5 degrees of advance. It was the last time they would let me run so I couldn't tune the fuel and timing for this boost level.
R/T 6.12 60' 1.695 (5.5" dry rotted Firestones) 330 4.982 1/8 7.657 MPH 93.21 1000 9.987 1/4 11.947 MPH 116.02 A couple of weeks later I ran again with the same boost better AFR and 25.5 degrees of timing. The cluch slipped all the way though 3rd and 4th gear. Ran a 12.1 @120 somthing MPH. I guess it's time to buy a better cluch. Can't wait to get a twin disk, slicks, SMIC and a racing header. -------------------- Yeah!!!!!!!!!!! AND WASH THAT THING OFF BEFORE YOU COME BACK!!! GROSS
FP 3065, Ported 2G exahust manifold, AEM EMS, 3" 02 housing, Shepard Racing Stage 3 tranny, Fadinza 8 LB. flywheel, Exedy stage 2 tripple puck thick ceramic cluch, 08 from the tank to filter, -6 to rail from filter, Aeromotive FPR 1:1 riseing rate, Crower Stage 4's. All of that and I don't know what I want to do next. |

Thanks. At least there is more than one person 'Officially' running faster than 12.0 in our group now.
Updated the list on this thread. From what I gather you are now running a 1G. That car has to be in the garage for me to apply your new time to the main list. -------------------- In Loving memory of David T Crebo

There appear to be some old ones up there though also... some cars that folks no longer own or setups that are rather old that are still bold.
