Finally, I got to go 10's

I was pretty accurate when I suspected I 'found' 100rwhp in my car after the last track outing when I discovered the timing wasnt synced correctly between the motor and the ECU

Sine the weather has been awesome lately, Cordova has been hosting some more events, and today me and rizzo made our way up their to see what the car would do.

Once again, just like V-day, I pulled the car directly on to the track making no adjustments. I still dont even know what the tire pressure is......boost was set at 25psi and still running E85. The 2-step was set to 5700

1st pass out of the box I clicked off a 10.4@134mph. I dont know how it happened but I managed to click off a 1.46 60ft time on my radials!

I lost control of myself after looking at the slip, I was yelling all the way back to the pits, im sure some people were like WTF, lol

I made a few more passes in the left lane but IMO it has always sucked, and the right lane is the way to go......the 2nd and 3rd passes I just spun pretty bad

The fourth pass I got my 2nd best ever 60ft with a 1.50. I ran the pass out to back my time up within a 10th, running a 10.5 @ 135mph!

By the 5th pass I was satisfied with my times and that I had backed it up but I went for it once more, this time spinning the tires to a 1.8 60ft, and running a 10.8 @ 136!

No idea what kind of power its putting down but I'm assuming 650-700 range with traps like that.

I had the nitrous setup for a 100 shot but I was extremely satisfied to go sub 10.5's and the car is still running like a top, I figured best to leave off somewhere to start next year instead of just getting 9's this year smile.gif

Guys

I realize this is in the wrong spot but I had ordered a part a while back and when I received it today, its not what I was looking for....

So with that being said, I need two injector resistor boxes that can be used for lowering a high impedance setup, to low impedance injectors

I am in the peoria area, thanks

Guys

I picked up a pretty clean 1G Talon ES that, I believe, has a bad auto tranny. The car runs perfect, but when you shift it into D, it starts going, and then shifts into 2nd, but then never shifts out of 2nd. I havent given this issue any thought yet, but I figured while I'm bored at work, I'll throw the idea out if anyone has any suggestions.

Worst case scenario I need to replace the tranny. I noticed a seller on here has an AWD Auto tranny out of a 93 GSX for sale, and I remember back a few years ago when I owned a 92 AWD Auto. It needed a tranny, and I found a FWD auto tranny, and popped the casing off of it, only to find there's a hole normaly where the output shaft would be. I then pulled the output shaft out of the broken tranny, and put it into the hole I found. Voila everything worked perfect. Could I do the reverse procedure here w/luck?

Thanks

Guys

I'm going to try and get a caravan together to head up to SloPny Day this sunday. A good meeting spot we've had in the past was the Paradice parking lot in E. Peoria, however the I74 west on-ramp from 116 is closed. I'm looking for suggestions on where to meet.

Possible locations.....

Lowes parking lot in E. peoria. Its right off of 74 and has easy access back on to 74.

Grand Prarie Mall parking lot. Relitively close to the interstates, ample parking. Several gas stations close by and food for the trip.

The drive is a little over 100 miles and I plan to go somewhere around the speed limit because I'm sure some people will be towing their cars up there. I was going to suggest we leave around 9:30 or so to arrive ~11am.

Guys

Be advised that if you are planning on selling your car, you shouldnt attempt to sell it if you've run it hard on the streets or on the track. At least this is the word on the streets anyways....

That is all....
