DSMCentral _ Kills _ Cavlier smokes S2000

Posted by: SCCA Stang Jan 15 2007, 01:17 PM

Hey all....

oh, here's a story,

of a lovely Cavy,

who was running on some cheap gas and used tires,

there was a stop light, and a hungry driver, but they weren't alone.....

oh, heres a story of a S2000,

who was running on good luck until this day,

who would have known this would end up this way.

cause when this cavy met this S2000,

they both knew it was much more than a hunch,

that this Cavy would be left in the dust....

But it wasn't so,

The Cavy showed...

and thus we came up with this tune....

The Honda crush,

The Honda Crush,

and thus, we came up with the Honda Crush!!!!!!

Ok, here's the real story.... came up on the tail of this S2000 at a stop light turn lane. as he headed out to turn left I saw him get on it and break the tires loose... attempting to see "just how bad does he kick my ass??" I headed out full steam ahead... as he drops into the right lane, I notice that I am accually catching him.... Holy bumpkins batman!!!!! can this be so... am I really catching this high reving screamer??? well as I climbed closer to being bumper to bumper with him I can hear that high reving monster approaching redline...... as I passed him, and to his surprise as well, the driver of the S2000 is so badly in shock that he forgets to shift and bounces the engine off of the rev limiter...

at that point I pull freely ahead and it is over... later on I catch back up with him and we talked about what the hell happened... He then proceeds to pull his ""Honda Excuses for losing book" out of his ass and tells me that it was too cold outside and thus his V-tech wasn't kicking in the way it is supposed to do..... I am flying the BS flag on this one and flying it high in the air... cause my car isn't even VVT and I was sucking in the same cold air he was... wow... what a run!!!

and guess what??? I had witnesses in the car with me.

ok what all is done to this cavalier? i dont believe it until i hear whats done to this cavalier. secondly vtec wont work if the motor is still cold the engine has to be warm so thats not a bs excuse its the truth.

VTEC doesnt work when your car is turned off either. Thats why you start it before you race.

DSMs dont run well on 87 octane gas. Thats why you don't race on regular.

Airplanes don't fly very fast underwater. Thats why you fly in the air.

Excuses excuses, a loss is a loss, more powa to the Cavi.

A loss is a loss agreed but coming up on someone whose car isnt warmed up yet then saying they are making excuses because they say that vtec isnt working a bs excuse is another i was only validating the fact that he was probably not lying. As for the fact that you dont race on 87 octane its not like the race was setup he merely came up on him and decided to toy with him who wouldnt play back even knowing your car wasnt running right? its part of street racing you dont always have optimal conditions. still waiting on the mod list of this cavi to even half believe it an s2000 is a stock 240 hp car and thats that.

accually this car is mostly stock besides a Flowmaster muffler and a hard pipe short ram air intake... beleive the story or not... I don't care!!!

did I win??? yes
do you believe me??? I don't care
was his car at optimal??? maybe not
does it matter??? not in the slightest
was I more prepared than him??? no, cause both of us started at the same place because we both go to school together

But I still don't have a VVT engine so in essence, if his car wasn't using Vtech, than really that made the race more fair

he admits the loss and I have a witness, so I guess nothing matters other than who was in front at the end
