update on Xian

thought I would let you guys know that I heard from good ol xian.

He graduated from ranger school and now has his Ranger Tab!

In about 2 weeks he goes to recon school so he can better learn how to spy on spyonu


He said Ranger School sucked complete and utter ass and hes not looking forward to any more school, but he beleives hes on a good path to apply for SPOC Training next year if this next year goes well!


and since I just remember that I never posted this here, I got engaged on April 11th, and set the date last week at Nov 28, 2008.

I am looking into a 91 fwd NA 4g63 for dirt ass cheap, it needs a head and timing belt......



about how much for a 1g head and timing belt?

97 Saturn SC2 6k

1997 SC2 5-spd Red ext gray interior 55.5K miles
interior is flawless, exterior, tiny dent on hood, some chips in front bumper from lots of highway miles and eatin rocks, few tiny scratches here and there.
Nothing you wouldnt expect out of a 97.

Throws an 02 sensor code thanks to still running a bit rich at low throttle, and I need to reconnect the Rear sway bar.

He has yet to scan his timeslip in, but he has a free airbox mod with a cone filter jammed in, and made the exhaust 2.5" all the way through

His son has roughly the same mods I beleive and ran a 14.539

n00bitude intro, and question

Hiya fellas

browsed the board before, finally signed up. Currently driving, well not actually driving, currently OWNING a 97 Saturn SC2 thats sitting sans engine out at KOU awaiting a new crank, rods, and pistons. It frequents the CCSCC events in Rantoul and spun 3 rod bearings there beginning of October

I do however have my eye on a 1g awd roller to build this summer assuming its still available by then, to make into a drag/road course car, as I would like a turbo thats prolly too big to use at autocross, and it will be too stripped to be in any sort of class it could compete in.

so now to the n00b question, I was trying to figure out how to put my car info in my profile, but I cant find where to edit it, just view it......
