I really hate the direction that magazine is heading, so as usual I sent a letter to the editor, Scott Oldham (scott.oldham@primedia.net) to voice my opinion. Here's the carbon copy.

Nice articles on the tech and cars, as usual. But, how you guys managed to squander so many pages of an already too-short issue on worthless 'burnout madness' is pathetic. Let's try to devote a little more time to content and less pandering to the lowest common denominator, fellas.

Also, could you please respond and tell me how shiv managed to get his nose so far up your asses? In case you're not familiar with the general consensus on nearly every automotive forum, he's regarded as a total ass-clown that couldn't tune a guitar, much less make real power with a car. He is getting better at giving excuses though; I guess practice helps. There's a reason why Vishnu Performance is synonymous with Vanishing Performance among EVO, STi, and DSM owners alike.

Now I know that you guys like excuses too, like when the project silvia went to the track and Coleman had to use 'correction' figures to cheat his way into the 12's. Very reminiscent of how Shiv continually uses his own correction figures to explain his less than impressive hp figures. It's no wonder that guy used to write for the magazines. Maybe if Dave is able to convince people that 13's are really mid 12's they'll graduate into the big time, like Shiv, and start his own performance company, perhaps named Mitigation Motorsports.
