i recently started working on the docks at CAT here in morton. all i do is drive around a forklift and load/unload stuff from various places. i have noticed that being a somewhat underground drifter in my own respect, the forklift behaves and handles just like drifting, only a lot slower and less dangerous i suppose.

i just thought that i would share my fun experiences at work with everybody. biggrin.gif

they just issued a "mandatory safety belts" rule on the forklifts like a month ago. i just started monday, but i would think common sense would tell you to wear it even if it werent required. you may not go that fast, but hitting anything in something that weighs over 5000 lbs would give you quite a jolt id imagine.

oh fork lifts are fun, i used to have to drive a really big one, bigger than all the other fork lifts they had at hagal. that thing was a beast, and it was all mine! the thing could lift up to 15,000lbs. and you know that you feel like you're drifting all the time is cause their rear wheel steering. what kind is the one you drive? propaine or electric? and what's the max load it can handle?
