Ahh. My phone's been off. Sorry to say but it sounds like its either the battery or the alternator. I've had batteries in the past that read 12 volts on a dmm but don't have enough juice to start a car. I'd take it and if you can your alternator to advanced or autozone or the like to get them tested. If your alternator is brand new, then there should still be some kind of warranty on it I would think.

Check all the connections too, make sure they are tight and CONNECTED. On a friend of mines car the connection to the alternator totally burnt itself in half and so it wasnt connected at all...

good luck

12 volts is a dead battery. A full battery will read 13-13.5volts. If it won't run without a battery then the alternator isn't doing its job plain and simple. That could either mean the alternator is bad or not hooked up correctly. Either way, I would make sure the battery is good and fully charged before I tried anything else. Lead batteries don't take well to being run dead. Good luck

Good to hear you figured it out. That's quite a set-up you have. biggthumpup.gif

You gonna take it to the strip this year? I'm sure we'll all be hitting Cordova on more than one occasion this summer.
