my car is running like crap. It wont stay running at idle...and when you excelerate it cuts out..and sounds realy rasspy and backfires.....i think my cat is clogged i dont know help me? It is really bad

sounds like an air metering problem. get that lumber on the logger and look for codes if possible. otherwise check your intake path for leaks. could also be that the car is trying to commit suicide from humiliation. ditch the vinyl, logoboy.

i did chris...there is no decals........ill check for leaks..i did mess with the intake this weekend..... hey are you gonna be home tomorow?

No, I'm not going to be available. What did you do to the intake? It sounds as if too much air is getting in, perhaps you hacked it too much. i suggest reverting back to stock if possible.

all i did was reaplace the air filter......we tried to run an open air filter at first but then i put my aircan back on...its only hacked a small bit.

well, obviously whatever you did caused the problem. Make sure your maf sensor is still plugged into the harness. Double and triple check anything you may have had contact with.
