OK, so we never really lined up and ran, but...

Saw the modded STI last night, started to chat him up. His friend, whose name escapes me is sitting two parking spots away in his CRX. I am vaguely familiar with the car, rumors you know. So we decide to go out and drive a bit. The set-up on the CRX is: B16A DOHC VTEC, with a custom 14b setup pushing roughly 7psi. And this car weighs nothing. The last car I saw with this set-up ran close to 240whp at R+Ts. We give it a goose from a 35-40mph roll, and all I can say is "HOLY NO LAG!!" Instant boost must be great. He jumps a car and a half up, and will not budge from there. This would be a great car to race from a stop, as we are both severely limited by traction. We go again fro 10 in first, and I jumped ahead by 10 ft or so, but I'm pretty sure I jumped him by a split second. Either way, he stayed put square in my blind spot. Awesome car, sweet set-up, mad props to the owner whose name escapes me. But he'll be there this afternoon.
