Well, we've gotten to the point where we pretty much need a dedicated tow vehicle. 3 dsm's, a tow vehicle, and a trailor though just isn't going to happen though so I've got to let one of the harem go.
Here's she is (pics will follow as soon as I can located them on the hard drive). There's a laundry list of mods so I'll try to hit the highlights. Overall it's probably the nicest of the 1G's I've owned. I'd give the body an 8.5 of 10 and the interior an 8.5 of 10. No rust anywhere that I've seen and it's a coveted 6 bolt, 4 bolt combo as well. '92 AWD Laser. 5sp manual, 130K on the clock cosiderably less on the engine, etc. Exterior: Color: silver Carbon Fiber Hood New factory OEM bumper (Talon style) Enkei RPO1 wheels wrapped in R compound tires Engine: Low mileage JDM motor (nifty red topped valve cover) Balance Shafts removed. TMO stage 3 chipped e-prom with stutterbox GM Maft translator (yes it runs a vented BOV this way without issues) 3" GM MAS in blow through configuration Hard UICP pipe (polished) 144 intake with cone filter oversized turbo outlet elbow MBC Drivetrain: ACT 2600 Brass Cable end bushings Solid shifter Bushings 4 bolt limited slip rear Suspension: KYB GR2's Eibach Pro-Kits Big Brake Upgrade up front Misc: Boost gauge A/F gauge 2G stereo with CD player RX& fuel pump 2.5" downpipe 'Stealth' catback I'm sure I'm forgetting a few minor odds and ends but hopefully I've hit the highlights. Please keep in mind that although this is a clean 1G it is a '92 (sought after model year) and hence 12 years old. Obviously there are some minor quirks and door dings. It's a great DSM but not a perfect show car. The only reason it's up for trade is that we have 'bigger' plans for the 2G and the race car is off the table. Ideally I'd like to trade straight up for a decent tow vehicle. Something we wouldn't be embarassed to paint the KOUmotorsports logo on and drive daily as well. Yukon's, Suburbans, Diesel Power, etc. are some hopeful examples. Pics to follow. Thanks for the space! -------------------- |

Our old open trailer with a DSM was just over 5000 pounds. He'll need soemthing with a 6500 pound towing capacity or greater.

Well that would be my next step. I wouldn't turn down the right offer. Admittedly, I'll most likely take my own advice (from Justin's thread) and return it to stock before the sale though.
You are welcome to PM with an offer though -------------------- |
