This may be useful info for individuals that use the factory OEM oil filter from the Dealer....
I noticed when swapping the oil filter on my '93 GSX this past weekend that the oil filter looked a lot different.... the new filter was shorter and not so fat... the part number was different, so I assumed a mistake was possably made. I called the dealer today and inquired why the filter was different and they said the the old part number was superceded by the new part number and the the different filter was in-deed correct the old part number is MD031805 the new part number is MZ690116 just F.Y.I. incase this happens to someone else too -------------------- You CAN sleep in your car, but your CAN NOT race your house!!!
