This thread is for all of you thinking about selling your DSM's. I sold mine about 2 weeks ago and even though I hadnt driven it for 2-3 months before I sold it and barely got to drive it even before that I really wish that I had kept it. I poured countless amounts of hours\ dollars into the car, sold it for a fraction of what I payed for it\ put into it and was only 1\4 mile away from having the car where I watned it as far as performance goes. It turns out that on the way home from buying my car, the buyer had some problems and somehow the bottom end had to be rebuilt. Call me a nice guy or call me a sucker, but I went ahead and payed for a rebuild on the bottom end of my motor and shelled out almost half of the money that I had made from the car. I used the remaining money to buy some crap that I needed for work and an $850 junker highend of the car that we shall not name integra and now I cant drive it because the title was forged and the DMV wont give me the title in my name. So the moral of the story is I would much rather have my rusty DSM sitting in my driveway undriveable and no money in my pocket than a good running undriveable that other car that we shall not name and no money.

Moral of the story is: Dont give in. As bad as it seems to get with DSM's it can always be worse.

I won't. Next car i plan on getting will either be: 240sx - SR20DET swap project, SRT-4, or Evo MR/STi. All depends on how much money I have, what cars I can afford, and if I have any tools by then. but I'm still keeping the DSM throughout all this.
