I had a runin with a local DSM running a 20g on a highway pull. He caught up with me in St. Louis and wanted and asked for some highway action on his way to Las Vegas. I figured why not, the car hasn't broken in a while.

So we pull next to eachother on a 50mph roll. I honk 3 times and upon full spool the race was over biggrin.gif

Our second pull was much closer as my 3rd gear torque steer/tire spin threw me into the gravel on the side of the road losing me nearly all traction.

These seemed like good times until I slowed down to hear what sounded like gravel in my tranny. I pulled over and all looked good. I start driving and all sounded good. When I got to fourth gear there was the gravel again. I think I ate another tooth or something. I'm getting pretty good at that. Now I'm fixing fifth and hoping I can get by without fourth for a while.
