Brian told me I needed new front axles when he put my new engine in. So , I found somebody that will do it as a favor, cause I can't afford slo pny, they got all my money in September for the engine. So I need to know what exactly to order. A half shaft for the left and the right? My CV joint boot is also ripped and has been since I got the car. Do I order a new boot too? Somebody help. thanks

If you order a halfshaft it will come with a boot on it already.
Autozone or carquest will be much cheaper than a new Mitsu one and have a lifetime warranty as well. You can also pick them up for $20-$50 used (depending on side). Is this for a 1G or 2G? -------------------- |

I'd just get the cv boot for 10 at napa and have that replaced rather than pay the loot for the whole shaft. Get it from napa though because the assclowns at autozone always manage to screw up and get the wrong boot. And they always try to pawn off the craptastic universal cv boot too. Avoid that uni-boot like the clap! It's like trying to find satisfaction with a blowup woman, not quite the real thing and a frustratingly poor substitute.
