Title says it i need a good tensoiner since i went out to my car the other day and saw that i could pull the timing belt off the cam gears without any effort.

Well, make sure it's your tensioner because the stock tensioner is hydraulic and when it sits (say overnight) it lets a little slack out and the timing belt will appear to be a little loose. When you start it up though, it will take the slack out of the belt immediately. Like I said, make sure it's the tensioner. When mine sits I can usually move the belt about a half inch in either direction.

if its the tensioner you will hear what sounds like HARD lifter tick. but its really just the tensioner.
