Here I have for sale is a Tow-It-All two wheel dolly. Last used by my grandpa for his fixer-upper projects that he tried to make money on, it's in extremely good condition. There's a little bit of surface rust but nothing remotely severe. It has the old style plug for the trailer lights and fits a 2 inch ball. The tires are in very good condition and I have all the straps for it. It would be a great trailer for a FWD car "cough" Ultimate Front Wheel Challenge trailer "cough" and is easily towed by my S10. I am sure I could tow a DSM with it even though it's only a four cylinder. Currently, it is in my garage as you see here and I'm packing the wheel bearings. Other than sitting for quite some time, there is nothing wrong with this trailer. I don't really need to sell it, just more if the right amount of money comes up I'd part with it. Thanks
Brett

A trade might be in order. Let me find out more about what I may need it for and I'll let you know. At most, I just need to move a couple of cars around, nothing more than a couple weeks. Anyone else interested? I'm really tempted to keep it for myself as a "just in case" but my car is AWD so really it wouldn't be of any use to me unless I was towing someone else's car.

Why not just disconnect the rear by pulling the drive shaft? You could use it all you want then, just reconnect the shaft and you're good to go.

I don't see why everyone is so anti tow dolly with dsms and awd. I mean, it is a dsm you own and you know you're going to work on it when it breaks so why not a little extra effort on towing?

Well, let me ask you a legitimate question, have you ever done this yourself? I'm not trying to be an pooper. When I go to the dirt track with my buddy that races Hornets, when the races are over all that we have time for is to throw everything in the truck, load the car and go home. It's pretty exhausting being there for about 6 hours driving and working on the car between races. When it's time to go home, all I want to do is drive home and go to bed. We don't even unpack the truck until the next day. After racing, I don't really feel like pulling a driveshaft without the aid of air tools or a couple of knowledgable friends. In short, I'm too lazy.

I just talked to my grandfather and he told me some interesting news. I'm not sure if you need a title or plates for one of these but he assured me that it has never been titled. He explained it to me as, when he bought it you only needed to have plates and a title for the vehicle you were towing and the vehicle pulling it. He bought it for some small, short trips and never used it thereafter. So, it is in "like new" condition, except for the surface rust because it has been sitting outside for it's lifespan. He bought it for $1000, please make offer.

I'm pretty sure in Illinois you'll need to get a title for it... shouldn't be hard though.

Yes, I've removed driveshafts many times on various vehicles.

Even without the title? Grandpa said he had a bill of sale to prove it was his, so filing for a title shouldn't be a big deal. I'll follow up on that. If so, I'll trade you for sure. Thanks

Sorry, he couldn't find a bill of sale. If you're really that worried about it he could probably dig up a credit card transaction because that's what he used to buy it from the dealer. I'd like to trade you plus $100 for me Spy. He just told me it's only two years old and used it a total of three times. Bearings are packed and it's ready to go as long as you've got a 2 inch ball. I'll look for a serial number tonight.

Still for Sale. I'm also selling (for a friend) a 4x4 pickup that could easily tow a DSM on this dollie. I've a possible trade, but nothing sure yet. Take this slightly used $1000 dollar dollie home for only $400 minus a title. I was assured one could be acquired easily though. PM me or post here.
