I am thinking about getting another TSi and I would really like to get a 5-speed this time, and possible even AWD. Just wondering if there was anyone in the IL area with one for sale, 92-up please. Decent mileage too and in good running condition. No extensive body/paint damage either please.

My budget is probably in the 3k area, thanks.

Preferably I would like a 92+ but I will consider earlier years. I'd rather buy a car that doesn't need any work though since I'm pretty much a car novice and can't cheaply fix the problems myself. Thanks.

I can also do a partial trade for my 92 TSi (auto FWD)
-More info can be given if anybody is interested, and the car has no problems.

Also, I am in southern IL about 30 minutes from St. Louis.

Thanks
-Dylan

Untrue! My first Mitsu, a GST, didn't need anything other than an oil change and minor upkeep to keep it running.

Can't say the same for my AWD but, I did buy it in about the worst shape imaginable. It's come a long way since I started out.

I think a DSM is the perfect car for a novice. Its the type car that I first started working on. Plus you have great websites like vfaq.com and dsm.org with detailed faq pages with pics on how to perform everything from a tranny oil change to complete engine rebuild.

Tis true, my eclipse was the first car i really got into working on. I have learned a great deal about working on cars just by fixing, ohhhhhhhh every posible thing in my eclipse. laugh.gif
