So today as i realize all the money that i previously thought would have gone to mods goes to fixing my 175000 mile laser with many many problems, that i was planning and reduing at the end of this summer, i start pondering. Why should i spend a whole bunch of money to fix this car and then more to make it what i want it to be mod wise, when by the end of the summer i should have around 6500 or so in the bank which about 4500 will be spendable. So that said to me how about at the end of the summer u buy a stock awd thats already running good and then sell the fwd (pull the few mods done it and throw them on the awd) and use the rest of the 4500 (after buying the awd) for mods. Then about another month after school starts ill have another 3000(in refunds from school) to throw around and then the same thing second semester.....What do you guys think about my decision. Oh and by the way the thing that broke today was somehow the clip on the passenger side of my front bumper broke and so then the other part of where it attaches (which i guess was rusted) broke so my front bumper on that side is basically just hanging there so ill prally just bungy it or something of those sorts cuz my plan is to just keep the beast running until the end of the summer and sell her away.

I would go along with the decision but I want to know how you get money back from going to school. It doesn't work that way for me!

Actually you will probably be happier in the end if you are starting with a more solid car. Hopefully you can avoid the modding temptation throughout the spring months.

Waiting for a good AWD after saving sounds like a much better option. biggthumpup.gif

i love my fwd, but i miss the all wheel sooooo much, you will be much happier to score a car that has the traction.
