I thought the 8 was difficult to improve on. Apparently I was wrong.

Based on changes/improvements I'd call it VIII.V not IX, but ... it gave me trade-in thoughts as well.

But now there's the 2007 Shelby Cobra GT500... http://www.muscularmustangs.com/2005/news0003gt500.php

... nah.

Sounds like the only real improvement is 10 hp and 3 ft-lbs of torque. I can get more than that from the free mods. The new front end looks good though.

Out of all these new things done to this new evo, why didnt they fix the clutch problem? That is what i think they should consintrate on. Other than that, the car is emaculate.

you need to conCENtrate on your spelling you illiterate evo-driver wannabe.

They _intentionally_ gave the evo a weak clutch. It wasn't something they would want to fix.

... yeah, you're supposed to trash the clutch not the tranny. Then they can install a new one for you via the tap they have in your vein ...

Lol @ "the tap they have in your vein..."

I like the seemingly bigger mouth on the new bumper. Looks like it gives more air to that intercooler hiding behind it. I never knew it was quite that large until I saw this picture.

So, any of you EVO owners looking to ditch your stock unit for an aftermarket one?

If this road course happens soon I might be looking to add a splitter.

I do like the IX bumper but not enough to pay for it.

The only thing I am adding are the tail housings. Will look good on the MR, love the way the JDM MR and Euro spec look with the blacked out housings on the graphite gray. They can keep the ugly bumper,....also, almost forgot, I want the dark steering wheel too....but I am not going to pay out the rear for a new steering wheel just to change colors.

talking about steering wheels, does anyone know if the stock EVO VIII steering wheel will fit on a 1G DSM.... do any of you EVO owners want to sell their's???
what about a EVO shift knob... they would both make a great compliment to the Black leather racing seats I am adding in december.

MOMO baby!!!!

No idea on fitment, sorry, and no intention to sell here.

Stock Evo shiftknob? It's just ... black leather, nothing special. *Shrug*
