Would these work for a Talon and are they that cheap for a reason? I didn't expect them to be soo cheap but I've always figured you get what you pay for so those might just be poorly made. Anybody ever used those? I'm wondering because I'm thinking about buying a set of OZ Racing Rims from a buddy for $250 with low-pro tires and I would want it lowered if it has low-pro tires so there isnt a huge gap.

These are excatly what his rims look like. Is $250 a good deal with low-pro's on em? (I'm thinking yes, but not excatly sure)

While I have no experience with that company, or those coil overs.... buyer be ware.

I paid 400 for my coil overs, and that's on the cheaper end that you can spend for real 'quality' coil overs. Real, good coil overs can cost over a grand. This company is selling a set for $46....

I see no information about spring rates. Personally, i think they are probally made for dropping more than structural rigidity, based on the fact that most of their current inventory is clear corners and glow sticks.

That is the starting bid, nobody has made an offer that high on them.

I was thinking the same thing.

One quick word of advice, stay off Ebay if you want quality stuff. Buy it at a retailer or second hand from one of the members of the board. Ebay tends to get the stuff you would find in the quarter machine at the grocery store. Not good stuff if you want quality products.

I've never had experience with Megan but have heard some good and some bad things about them.

I don't know if it is all quater machine products. The guages I ordered were very nice and my clear corners are on the way. I'll let you know how those turn out. Also, if anybody on here had a set of lowering springs and the price was right, I'd buy them.

You may have had good experiences with clear corners and gauge faces but are you really going to trust it on things that could cause a safety issue on your car? Say an "off brand" coilover/spring like Megan's is made of a weaker alloy metal than what it's supposed to be. You're driving down the road after 10,000 miles of use and you're very happy with them. You see your turn off and decide to take it extra sharp. Halfway through the corner you hear a loud SNAP!!! and then all the sudden the whole car bottoms out on the pavement on one corner and scrapes to a halt. Now your spring just broke and you've just caused yourself more trouble because you went with an Ebay special.

I'm not saying don't buy them or that they are bad products and will break, it's just what could happen when buying stuff like that on Ebay. I wouldn't be afraid to buy things like clear corners and gauge faces on Ebay, but they're not vitally important to my car's safety and running condition.

BTW, aftermarket companies aren't the only ones that this happens to. Ford has a Technical Service Bulletin out for all (certain year) Taurus and Sables because their springs tend to crack and snap in half. What's the TSB for? Putting a girdle on so that when the springs do snap, they don't puncture the tire. How stupid.

Yea, I get what you are saying. I didn't really plan on getting them since I figured its an Ebay rip-off, but I just thought I'd check. No harm in asking.

Anyways, here are some pics I just took to give you guys an idea of what those rims look like on a Talon. I know my car is dirty, I'm gonna give it a good clean and wax this saturday and hopefully the clear corners will be in my then aswell. I know the rims arent perfect, but what do you expect for the price. I'm gonna order some new center emblems since 2 of these are missing.
