does anyone have any insight on the advantages/dis advantages of the vent gauge mod? my a-pillar gets in the way sometimes so i was going to do the vent gauge mod.

2 ....i had a Oil PSI but it started leaking so i'm going to get rid of it

I personally hate gauges on the a pillar. People might say they are in the line of sight, and yes they are in your preripheral vision, but you still have to take your eyes off the road in order to read them.

I personnally like pillar pods, because they are close to the same sight line that you use for driving, the biggest disadvantage to them that I found is that when turning left you have slightly reduced vision,
check out Straightline Specialties they have a pretty good selection of radio guage bezels for 1G and 2G cars. I have one in my eclipse click here looks good and stays out of the way there are a couple of suggestions for you...hope this helps good luck

Vent Pod gauge holders are a pain in the azz to keep in. i had one for my 1G and I cracked it trying to push it in becasue it kept falling out. Triple pillar, we can mold it into your factory pillar if your interested, let me know. |
