So the other day i noticed oil on my tranny. IT covers everything, axles, transfer case, and is a mess. I thought it might be coming from the valve cover but there isnt much oil by the valve cover. It looks like its coming from around the head gasket. But oil is everywhere, idk how to tell exactly where its coming from or what it would be. any help would be great.
I can get pics, if that would help. -------------------- WWW.DRAGSOURCE.NET

When I took my car in for the transfer case recall they told me that they was oil all over the place under my car and they couldn't tell if it was leaking or not until they cleaned it up and replaced my oil return line gasket from the turbo. They said it was spraying oil all underneat the car. Just a thought, you could be having the same problem.

And when I had oil all over the bottom of my car (mainly the oil pan though) it was from the exhaust manifold studs not sealing the oil galleys behind them. Who knows. Do your best to retrace it and replace whatever seal looks like it's leaking.
