Can we get some type of cap on post editing?
I understand the idea of being able to edit posts to correct grammar, spelling, and clarification... to a point. Most forums have a cap that doesn't allow you to edit after ~15minutes though. There seem to be a rash of magically re-appearing and disappearing posts and threads lately though. From my standpoint the issue comes to be a damage done, post made, mud-slung, but now it's gone so I don't know what you're talking about. Specificly I'm not referring to admin deletion or moderating of threads but rather the ability to go back to a post and pull a "ninja poof"  vanish or change the post.Perhaps done to elicit a reaction, leave the reactive posts in place, and then look innocent. Regardless it would be nice to have a degree of stability to posts and threads. -------------------- |
