Custom Driveshaft Options

Well, I picked this up from the driveshaft shop today and I got so excited about it that I couldn't keep it a secret. I bolted it up to make sure everything fit and it did perfectly. The only thing I have to complain about is that it feels a bit on the heavy side but I'm sure it's still short of what the stocker weighs. The welds are near perfect and Kevin built it with just some measurements and my specifications. I told him what I was going to do with it and he built it without even having the car there. We couldn't make a 1-piece driveshaft because he said he prefers not to go over 70in because it becomes dangerous. So, we just used the back carrier bearing, which I'm filling with silicone, and made a 2-piece shaft. I bought new U-joints for it as well which he put in for me at a minimal charge. He also took the pivot ball apart and put new grease in there (which is a special type of grease) and put it back together in proper form. All in all, I'm very happy with what I got. Good price, good product. I'll have further updates as well when I can drive the car.
