Ok, here goes. I for some reason have lost boost. I have a 91 fwd talon, and the turbo sounds like it's spinning, but it isn't spooling up.....maybe getting 3-5 pounds if that. I took the intake hose off, and the turbo seems to spin with no restriction. Also, I had gotten on the throttle once since this started to see if it just needed blown out or something, and I blew the oil filter off the spindle. I am in the process of taking the turbo off to see wtf is up, but has nayone else had this problem? The car is 100% stock at this point.

If you are blowing the oil filter gasket, its possible that you are losing boost pressure past the turbo oil seals. This can overpressurize your oil and cause the filter to blow. Try pushing the compressor in and out of the turbo. If it moves more than a few millimeters then your oil seals are bad.
