anyone have any tips on how to get the ball joints out of the control arm. i cant really tell where the ball joint ends and where the control arm starts. im not sure wich way youre suposed to beat it out the top or bottom. im assuming the bottom. any little extras that anyone might have would be greatly appreciated. thanks.

If I remember right I have only pressed them out. So that means you have to push them out from one side. I've got a press you can use, but it's all the way up in here Washburn.

i got one out today. i was cutting away at the rubber boot and realized there is a retaining ring on them. i got the ring off and put some heat to it and hit it a few times and it popped right out of there. not near as hard as i thought it would be.
